Extended Refresher

For most students, the 1-hour Pre-Test Refresher is sufficient to cover what is needed to pass the road test. However, 1 hour may feel somewhat rushed for anxious students. This 90-minute extended Pre-Test Refresher offers extra practice time, perfect for students with high test anxiey. 90 minutes is ideal for:

-Learning the 5 test maneuvers and commiting them to muscle memory

-Gaining more familiarization of the car

-Having additional time with your instructor for questions

The Road Test is taken immediately after the lesson unless the student and the instructor decide to test at a later date.

If you already feel confident behind the wheel and simply want a quick overview of the test, the 1-hour Pre-Test Refresher is likely all you need. If you normally like to be thorough and take your time when learning, this extended option may be right for you!

Road Test

The road test is the same skills test administered at a tax collector office. Applicants are evaluated on their ability to control a vehicle and obey traffic laws and signs. Additionally, applicants are required to conduct five maneuvers:

Straight-In Parking

Parking on a Hill

Quick Stop

Backing

Turnabout (3-Point Turn)

Test results are electronically submitted in the state testing software immediately after the exam. If an applicant fails a test, he or she must wait at least 24 hours before the next attempt.
